Potentially avoidable appointments audit
The potentially avoidable appointment audit tool can be used to track the proportion of your practices
appointments that could be avoided. The avoidable appointments are then categorised to help you and your practice identify
areas for change to help reduce avoidable appointments. It is a tool to help you reflect on how you use the single most
important resource – your time.
You can invite clinicians from your practice to take part in the audit and track their progress. Once you end your practice audit
a report will be available to analyse clinician and overall practice results, helping you to drive change within your practice.
